Cheddar Pigs In A Blanket
Ingredients:
8 hot dogs
1 can of 8 ounce Crescent Rolls
(1) 5 ounce bar of 3 Year-724 Wisconsin Grader’s Reserve Aged Cheddar, sliced.
Cooking Instructions:
Heat oven to 375°F. Slit hot dogs to within ½ inch of ends; insert 3 strips of cheese into each slit.
Separate dough into triangles. Wrap dough triangle around each hot dog. Place on non greased cookie sheet. Cheese side up.
Bake at 375°F for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Enjoy dipped in Ketchup or this DIY Spicy Mustard dipping sauce.
Recipe for Spicy Mustard dipping sauce:
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
1 minced garlic clove
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Combine mustard, vinegar, garlic, lemon honey & pepper in a small bowl: whisk until smooth. Serve at room temperature of chilled.
